In any case I was less focused on what he was saying about Goff and more focused on how he illustrated McV's efforts to make him comfortable. Which is what a good offensive coach will do
Goff has some ground to make up in terms of public perception... you know that man

I want to read different viewpoints, so I appreciate this being posted.
But Doug Farrar is obviously NO fan of Jared Goff in any way, shape, or form.
In his opinion, Goff had terrible accuracy and timing issues AT CAL.
The article isn't "Now with McVay, Goff's natural talent has a chance to show through".
It's "With McVay, there's a tiny keyhole of a chance that the inaccurate, untalented, issue-laden Goff won't be a horrible bust"
I don't think I'm mischaracterizing that.
