Couldn't have made points about Donald any better myself. Well said. The Rams have their cap well-managed and there are sure to be 1-2 additional larger contracts that come of the books next year depending on how 2017 goes.
On the roster, I pretty much agree except:
WR- I think it's Spruce that is the placeholder for Thomas. Haven't seen him do enough. PS him after Thomas returns.
OL- pretty sure they will keep 9. Count me among those not thrilled that Williams is their best backup OT right now. Scour that waiver wire after preseason ends...
DB- my guess has been they keep a 5th CB but with Joyner and Johnson able to play CB that makes sense too.
I was thinking Sayles may have earned a PS spot this week as well.
By the way, I have no idea what's going on with Dunbar but I'm starting to think he may just get IR'd. If he's on the cusp of returning, great, but they haven't said that. And with the WR situation as it is now Austin's best role could very well be that 3rd down RB spot Dunbar was penciled in for when he signed.
