They sure had some nice runs to the left last night, both to the outside and through the gaps. We didn't see them run that way with the starters in game 1. While I think we all know that they will run better to the left than right with this OL, it was nice to see it in action.
On that 9 yard run by Gurley where the pile moved about 7 of those yards, it was Whitworth at first then joined by Saffold that was moving the pile. That dude is powerful.
Sullivan may just be an above average center at this point in his career, but he is still a huge upgrade over Barnes. The middle of the line was stout in pass pro all night and Goff almost always had an actual pocket to step into. Something that just didn't happen much last year.
