So I state that if they can't get a deal done that doesn't give AD massive guaranteed money in the first three years and an opt out after three , then I'm insane to entertain trading him?
Better the Rams give in and kill their cap for years(if they were to give him 70 million and an opt out isn't that money accelerated into the cap for the next year
since guaranteed money is usually paid early but spread over the life of the contract? Not knowing how any of this will effect future players and contracts is
reason enough to be leery of any kind of opt out.(understanding that no evidence has actually been presented that the clause has been asked for but after watching the NBA guys do it over the last few years it was only a matter of time for the NFL to try o get these types of things into their contracts).
Did not appreciate the insinuation that I may be off my rocker!
