#Rams GM Les Snead: The Sammy Watkins trade talk started with the #Bills in the Spring when the Bills didn't give him the 5th yr option.
This was mentioned as soon as the trade was made... leads me to believe that Snead wanted Sammy in that draft. Remember, Snead came from Atlanta and saw what drafting Julio Jones did for that team. Love him or hate him, Snead isn't a boring GM and is willing to gamble.
Hoping this bet pays off big time!!!
...as you recall, it was right after that draft Fisher made his famous proclamation "anybody who thinks we need WRs don't know football..."
I doubt even Fisher makes that public claim if his GM really wanted Watkins.
