Without AD?!!! How can that be?!!!

I'm actually thinking that is why he is holding out now. The defense is going to be good with or without him and since it is more of a DB-oriented instead of a DL-oriented defense, his impact, while still good, will be lessened. He may very well be at his statistical peak.

Don't get me wrong, I want him out there. But he was likely more of a star in the old defense. Now he may be just a really, really good part in a defense with lots of really good parts.
