Haven't seen much from the Rams that would indicate 'low-balling' as a common tactic.
It's all going to come out in the end. I'm not a fan of 'sitting out'... even IF one feels justified and being cheated. So irrespective of 'who is at fault' there is enough for me to eye AD's agent, (not necessarily AD), with some degree of disdain.
If it's the Rams, and it could be, we'll know eventually... not right now however.. and as I said to start this.. not much in history to indicate the Ram's are playing that game. - JamesJM
2 indications.
They absolutely did lowball Jenkins. We know that. That info is out there.
And the word is that their offer to Donald is more or less like Suh's.
Which is a bad sign. First, Donald is better than Suh. And 2nd, Suh's deal was 2 years ago....contracts go up.
If Oakland had offered Carr the money Wilson got in 2015, they would have had problems too. Carr got 25 M a year. Wilson got 21 M a year. What happens with the market is quite simply that the averages for a position go up every year.
Unless they exceed the Suh numbers the Rams are lowballing. If you were Donald's agent that is absolutely the first thing you would think.
