When you say about Goff that he's not yet at the level "we need him to be at", I'd like an end to that sentence.

to win the Superbowl?
to make the playoffs?
to have a winning season?
to win more games than last year?
to not make us all facepalm?
to even be an NFL starting QB?
I'm totally with you on being patient with him and realizing it's a process, but it's not clear to me what level you think he's at now vs what we "need him to be at".
Cuz if he's not ready to be an NFL QB yet, with 3 weeks of the preseason to go... gulp.
