You asked where I had heard about Tavon's playbook struggles, R2K.
I gave you 3 links. If you choose to diss the sources because it's not what you wanted to hear, that's on you. Fine by me.
If you think that Tavon mastered the playbook and the O concepts after his rookie year, that's fine by me, too.
If you choose to disregard Tavon's wonderlic score, that's fine, also. Although you might want to ask yourself why teams require the wonderlic if it has no value. Cough, cough...
Tavon's WR stats after a full 4 years of evidence tells me all I need to know.
As a WR, he's a great RB. That's the kindest thing I can say about him as a WR. His contract extension was Fisher's final folly. A league wide joke.
Why am I so pizzed? So here we are with a player that probably can't start ahead of at least 3 others and that we can't release because of his danged contract, and that we can't trade without eating a ton of his cap hit. And a promising WR will have to be cut because we are stuck with Tavon's contract.
How's that for a self imposed strait jacket? Arrrrrgh...
One of the articles even tried to point out that they were click bait.
All the quotes from the coaching staff indicate he is doing fine.
Like I said, they're taking things out of context and running with it based on a statement he made as a rookie for clicks.
If you want to run with it, that's on you.
I'll go with what the people who actually know (coaches) word on things.
I think Tavon is going to thrive in this system and will have his detractors chocking on the HaterAid by years end.
