Watkins is absolutely behind the curve in knowing the offense and it won't happen overnight. But he could be comfortable with plenty by week 1. You get him comfortable with 10 plays for this week vs OAK, 20 for SD, 30 (though he probably doesn't play) for the GB preseason finale, 40 by IND in week 1, etc.
He may not have the whole playbook and offense down until week 4-5, but he can do plenty by the time the regular season starts.
