Edelmen does is against NFL DBs, Spruce does it against folks destined for NFL practice sqauds or Arena Football League.
I don't think anyone is comparing Spruce to Edelman on here....just giving an example of a "lunchpail" type WR is what he was getting at I think.
Edelman was once a 7th round draft pick who struggled to make the team and wasn't until Welker went down with an injury did he get a shot.....Its not like Edelman was always a stud WR in the NFL.
Obviously we will know a lot more after week 3 of preseason who is playing well enough to make the team....either way their is going to be a good WR or two who will not make the 53.
its a good problem to have.
