Assessing Goff and making the tough decision on him is one reason I think they pulled the trigger on the Watkins trade.
As you illustrated, every offense positional group has been significantly upgraded.
They're taking away the excuses for a Goff failure. With all of that removed, they'll be able to make a cleaner assessment this year of if he has what it takes.
