I wish I had a nickel for every time we've had an allegedly "franchise changing moment" over the last 20+ years that perhaps turned out that way, but in the opposite way we hoped. Jumping the gun and making big decisions on what turn out to be the wrong players and coaches is exactly why this franchise has been among the worst in the NFL over that period.
Will we ever learn?
