Much like you said earlier there are many question marks so it's difficult to say. The line can revert back to 2015 or continue its abysmal 2016 performance.
Whitworth can be a God or a year too old.
Goff can make a second year leap or struggle.
Woods can produce like a garcon or continue to be average.
The defense could excel under wade or prove to be ill suited for the scheme.
Mcvay may inject life into this team or be too young to gain command of the team.
That being said and before a down is played I see a 9-7 team.
They will almost assuredly be be better on offense with whitworth manning the blind side and mcvay scheme. Say what you want about woods but I'm envisioning a career year for him. Is that a #1 wr? Idk...but I think his professionalism will be better for this team.
Finally without being in the draft room hearing him lobby for players i think sneasd has done a fine job. Some hits some misses. The Robinson pick was bad but maybe that's on Fisher. Maybe snead advised against it. For the most part I liked his 2017 draft. For now on the draft and fa signings are on him.
All that being said I see a 9-7 team. If more unknowns fall our way more wins. If not less. But id prefer to see them in camp first.
Imo despite your objectivity claims this is a much more fair view of the 2017 rams.
And let's not forget...football is entertainment. We're not dealing with healthcare here.

Stuff about Woods being a #1 WR?
About Snead doing an excellent job?
