It has to be the southern accent. I know someone once said he couldn't spell cat if you spotted him the c and t. When I listen to him he doesn't come across as dumb to me, in fact he seems like he plays off of that sometimes which is an indication that he is not dumb.
Year ago, like in the late 80's and early 90's I worked for a woman that on the surface didn't seem that bright. She was short, really overweight, terrible and dated hairstyle and a little bit of a drawl. She was actually smart as fick and was at one point a nationally rated top 10 bridge player. But talking to her you would get the impression that she was kinda dumb.
So I haven't ever really had the impression that Bradshaw is dumb. He's not a genius like Norman Einstein (LOL Thiesmann) but he just doesn't strike me as dumb.
