It absolutely fits who he is.
(I'm often struck by how absolutely squeaky clean this guy has been during the almost twenty years he has been in the public spotlight. In an age when almost nothing can be hidden from public scrutiny ... the very worst thing anyone has been able to even remotely 'pin' on Warner was that he 'allowed' Brenda to become embroiled in the situation with Martz. Other than that ... the guy has personal and professional resumes that are as clean as a Safeway chicken.)
Anyway ... if I remember correctly, Jarrett Payton was 11 or 12 when he gave his father's induction speech.
Everyone ... rightly so ... cheered that.
Why would anyone question this?
