The rest doesn't matter, when the person at the top is terrible that's enough to keep a team down.
The Rams were the worst team of the 90's, more losses than any team the entire decade and that's with a 13 win season in 1999. The worst 5 year stretch in NFL history belongs to the Rams and it came almost a
decade after the debacle of the 90's. 4 winning seasons in a 5 year window because they caught lightning in a bottle doesn't negate crappy ownership and Front Office personnel for nearly 3 decades. And that issue is still in place IMO. Snead if he is allowed total and complete autonomy can be good, but other than that what is there?
This has been sustained failure unlike any team in any sport.
There is no team in the NFL with a near 30 year run like this, and I can't think of a team in any other sport that has either. I follow the NBA too, not so much baseball and hockey so maybe there are teams in those sports that can challenge this steaming pile. But I doubt it.
The Rams have been the closest thing to the Washington Generals that the NFL has ever had.
