Carlsen and Karjakin played to a draw in a very pretty perpetual check.
They played in a room behind a glass wall where I was able to watch a bit but it was so dark, better off following on the big board outside.
Carlsen started that match overconfident. But he rallied and showed his greatness in the tie breakers. His Queen sac at the end was pure delight.
The Fulton Street venue was a rip off, but still, NYC chess is always exciting.
