I think it;s simpler than that. I think they screwed up the extension and that led to a Snead/Fisher rift.
I don;'t think that means the entire front office was wracked by miscommunication from 2012 on. In fact I think that';s doggone unlikely. We saw too many signs to the contrary.
I think a lot went wrong in the move, including Demoff no longer being engaged with contracts in the 2016 off-season, with a lot more on his plate to handle, and the new contracts guy stumbled.
