Vegas puts the number at 5.5 at the four sites I checked. Vegas is in the business of making money on their opinion and if you bet the over you would collect if the Rams win 6 games and lose if the Rams win 5. To be honest that would make me a bit nervous.
Using PFFs line (4 wins) you would collect at 5 wins and wouldn't lose your money unless the Rams won 3 or fewer. If I could get that line at a betting site I'd be all over it.
And the cut your loses philosophy doesn't apply. If you bet the over on 4 wins last year it would have been a push. (If it was me I'd roll that money towards an 'over 4' bet this year, and probably double or triple it in the process.)
