If things go as they appear to be, out of 24 starters (counting the 2 STs specialists) McVay's 2017 team will include 6 guys who were not on the roster in 2016.

6. That's just not that many.

It was far more in 2009, and it was far more in 2012.

The 99 Rams I think had like 5-6 guys on the entire team who were there before 1997.

Everett is a strong possibility to be a starting TE soon, if not by opening day.
JJ is another strong possibility to be considered a semi starter depending on Wade's scheme sets. He will certainly get many snaps.

Now, if we want to add new starters for '17 that were not starters in '16 and/or will be starting at new positions vs '16:

Brown
Higbee
Quinn
Easley
Joyner
Alexander

And Thomas sounds like a possibility to be an outside WR at this point.

Anyway we slice it, that's a ton of new faces as new starters in different roles.

That's 14 for sure, and possibly 17 when we include new faces at new positions.
