They are certainly no worse than the other guy had that mush is for sure. And the other guy took on a team that was 5-43 the prior 3 season...let that sink in a minute then go back and look at the 2010 roster yet somehow they went 7-9 with a rookie QB dropping back a ridiculous 39 times/game.
As for this group of receivers I have learned on this board that Kupp is headed toward Canton and several others show great promise so I think that covers the receivers, oh and Gurley only sucked because Fisher was coach so he'll be back on Jim Brown status too.
The question is always "does the QB make the receiver or vice-versa?"
I'll remind you that no one on planet earth ever heard of Danny Amndola, Brandon Gibson, or DX and all went on to get nice deals after playing in STL....not to mention Mark Clayton was never better than the short time he played their too.
Let's see what Goff can do with this young, talented group?
And I almost forgot, the OL is now on par with Dallas because we got rid of that horrible OL coach too!
So it looks like all green lights to me.
You?

And you've posted about Goff on numerous occasions this offseason.
Usually something to the effect as your post at the top of the thread - i.e. that he has no excuses.
I agree. I repeat - I agree. No excuses. He needs to play much better than he did last season.
But since you DID often cite other team elements in the past - elements such as the WR's or the Oline - as being necessary to a QB's success, I can't help but be curious.
Do you currently consider those areas of the Rams to be strong and established?
Or do you no longer think they are important?
Seems like it's got to be one or the other.
R.I.P. Nelson aka TonyHunter87 1971 - 2017 far too soon..
Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM
No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
