don't get me wrong, the G-Rob pick was a disaster.......but passing up on Ryan alone, set us back AT LEAST 5 years during this horrible stretch.
But Matt Ryan wouldn't be the same Matt Ryan that we've seen in Atlanta. Does he even start as a rookie under Linehan? Does he develop or succeed with Spagnuolo as his HC? Would his progress be even remotely the same without White, Gonzalez, Jones, etc. surrounding him?
Naw, I'm sad to say that it's very likely we'd still be looking for a new QB now even if we'd drafted Ryan then.
