IMO time is not the problem...projecting is the problem.
Most players are liked by their lifelong coaches and teammates, so personally, I wouldn't put a lot of stock into those interviews. One hour interviews at SB, Combine, PD, internal visits don't add up to much and it could take a very long time to truly judge someone`s character. I do believe the people conducting the interviews could potentially make a difference though, and that's also part of projecting, so I agree with you there.
