To be sure Mack & Mathews were part of the conversations. But as I recall..., LOT, and WR seemed to be debated greatly as the team priorities, because our D wasn't terrible (or as terrible as the O). The second biggest debate seemed to be between GRob who was the physical freak, and appeared to have massive upside, and Mathews who was more pro ready, and had the pedigree. Again, that's how I recall the conversations.
But yes..., Khalil Mack was also in the conversations..... and as it turns out..... for very good reason.
