The draft picks just signed and about to be signed were putting the Rams over the cap. I was wondering how they would resolve that issue. Sad but this was inevitable.
Kromer and McVay didn't pick him. They had no investment in him.
Once he showed up in OTAs and made mistakes to the point of being demoted to the scout team, it's clear they just moved on. They're lucky they got the cap space for him through the trade.
