It seems that Havs is now the fixture at RG. He hasn't been moved, and if you listen to McVay and to Havs, he has not been asked to move around.
So as it stands, barring injury or something unforeseen, it is thus far evident that 4/5th of the Oline is set: Whitworth, Saffold, Sullivan, Havenstein.
The only real battle is at RT; and it seems from what is being reported, there is a pretty short leash on GRob.
The only real question, to me, is whether they think J Brown is good enough to be their starter at RT. If not, we might see an attempt to acquire a Vet at that spot. Not predicting it. Just saying that it is the logical route.
Correction, Rock.
Pretty clear that more voting posters on the Herd board think that Hav will be our new RG. Slightly different perspective.
But the most important vote is Kromer's.
Having said that, zn may be right and Hav is a "Kromer" OG and the issue is settled.
My opinion? It's early June and Kromer is tinkering at one position at a time. There's a long way to go before opening day.
For the record, I don't have a horse in this race. I will be perfectly happy with whatever personnel decisions Kromer makes. I just want the best 5 to start and I will root for them like crazy.
