Re: Woods

feel that he is a known player

keep believing that some WRs will come into the pros and instantly be successful.
it rarely actually works that way, huh?

long list of WRs from USC that just haven't been able to translate early.

But Woods has a sensational college career to gape at.
And, both he and Marqise Lee, ought to have pretty solid pro years.

Woods is a mature player entering 5th seasn. Has over 500 yards a season, and will make the affordable play
Reviewed some stats.

The guy plays well on the road; he's not overwhelmed by crowds, and the opponent.

He's fantastic on his own side of the field when moving the ball. This is big for the Rams. Remember with Greg the Leg, and anemic scoring, it still remains that we'll take the FG when it's there. He also appears to be a go to guy when trailing on the scoreboard.

He's been very good over the course of both college and pros of getting open and giving his QB a target when plays breakdown.
And a willing blocker.

Actually, think we know more about Robert Woods as a primary WR than what Tavon Austin or any of "veteran" WRs left on the squad can do.

Bradley Marquez the longest tenured WR of the Rams? Uh, uh, uh. Well, thought he was the 3rd down, move the chains kind of guy, but seems we have a host of those now.

Mike Thomas' ugly drop last year still makes me grimace. Nice to hear he's been having success, enough to warrant remarks from the head man.

Pharoh? Ya got me. the backfield was invaded by enemy forces too often to know.

Nelson Spruce. Injured the entire year, and actually rates as a rookie because of it. Really like this kid, but he's just that, and it'll be an uphill for him.
Overall, I feel like I know more about Woods probable success more than any other veteran WR on the club.

The point actually was if I am picking up starters that I am counting on snap after snap? Woods is on the field almost every play.
