Knowledgeable Ram fans can see where he might be just what the doctor ordered for a McVay/ Goff new O. But his lackluster Buffalo stats tend to make pundits overlook his potential in this new environment.
Then there's the factor of going from a disorganized and pathetic Fisher O coaching staff to the unknown coaching staff of a very young rookie HC... Pundits are gonna take a step back before jumping on any McVay bandwagon just yet. Ram insiders are more ahead of the curve, otoh.
Plus there's now the rapid development of rookies factor with this new staff. Pundits have become accustomed to slow rookie development from the Rams of late.
Like I said. So many simultaneous improvements have occurred since January with the Rams. The pundits haven't caught up yet. We aren't even favored in a single game this coming season. Makes no sense when you think about it, huh?
