In the Tom Mack thread, I argue firmly that a major part of our OL dysfunction lay in the poor coaching.
Now, theoretically, one could then argue that GR could develop under better coaches. I do think that's POSSIBLE ...
But I don't really believe in it. Yes, OL needs good coaching. But, individual LOTs who have real promise will in 3 years show you something, a lot more than what GR has shown, no matter what the coaching has been. I don't really believe that GR will come good. I also don't believe that Tavon will ever be more than a gadget guy who makes an occasional play when the stars align.
When the sample size is big enough, we KNOW who players are. And, I do believe that GR is ... a bust.
