The problem with Austin is his salary

He can definitely be an asset and create momentum changing plays, but I doubt if he will ever be the 1000 yard receiver.

Az Hakim had tremendous value in a similar role and Kurt Warner really missed him when he left in 2002. Maybe 1 big special plays game, a few first downs to keep chain going on picking up yards after catch. And maybe, they have 1-2 gadget plays. Have him make 5+ a game and a couple of big plays and he changes the entire game.
