When the Rams start to consistently have success down the field with their outside guys you will see these (hitch , bubble screen, and shovel pass) become much more effective weapons for Tavon and the Rams. They just don't give teams any reason to leave the box right now.
That is the hard to swallow part....if a hitter can't go deeper than 300ft, your outfield isn't going to be playing much deeper than 270ft. no reason to.
Which is where Reynolds needs to shine imo.
Yeah but I think with properly executed routes even moderately fast receivers can open a deep route that will make many safeties hesitate to cover.
Lots of average/decent speed guys get deep routinely under the right circumstances. Scheme is very important in this regard.
