This board shifts from negative to positive ever single year around this time.
And I do mean every year.
Not saying I don't like what we're doing. because I freakin love it.
But this is no different to any other year, we just forget based on the teams performance that came when the season started.
In a way I am not directly responding to you, it's more like I am just thinking out loud after reading you.
I don't forget anything.
And I also see causes for grounded optimism.
Also, not saying you're saying it is, but, the things people see in a bad season are different. So not everyone feels the same way about the record. For example, just speaking for myself here, a lot of what happened in 2016 was unique to 2016 and so won't be factors now.
Anyway, to me it's not a case of some people see good and then the bad things strike and the bad is truer but gets forgotten. I don't think people even see the same bad things, so the Rams falling short to me is not in itself telling or revealing. It's WHY they fell short that matters. And there will be different views of that.
