but still even if they got 20 inches. it takes a fair amount of time for the ground to stabilize enough to proceed with construction. I don't know that to be the case. But it is not far fetched for the engineers to delay the project because of this. Were they building from ground level I doubt there would be a delay
I don't pretend to be an expert on construction or engineering.
But we will have here in SoCal an approx 4 inches of rain more than a normal year's total. FOUR inches. That's a single afternoon in some places like Florida or Texas.
That just doesn't seem like something that should delay the project by a full year. At least to me.
I mean, if they can complete that beautiful showplace stadium up in Minnesota while dealing with rain, snow, ice, and those incredibly low winter temps...
What does that say about our SoCal abilities? Lol.
