You don't have to participate in anything strenuous where you risk injury but show up for your mates and the new regime.
Be a friggin leader or at least show that you are making strides to mature and be a leader for this team.
The young guys coming in look up to you and some have even pattered their games after yours...SHOW UP!
Practice time is limited as is.
No one player should be above the team nor should a non-qb consume that much of a teams cap.
