Excellent profile of the Rams' draft class. Certainly a positive step to improve the team considering the lack of high choices.
Glad you took a step back after the draft to research the players rather than just repeat all the post draft quotes. My biggest
concern is that I worry about how Aaron Donald - the Rams' best defensive player - will fit into a 3-4 defense. Usually teams
employ a 340 lb. run-stuffer in the middle. Anyway, nice job!

Rams will be one of the 3/4s that line up a 3-technique defensive tackle plus a DE in the 3/4 instead of 2 DEs. Brockers is the nosetackle. So actually Donald pretty much plays the same position this year he did last year.

And in this defense, it's a one-gap attacking 3/4, so defensive linemen are not charged with controlling the OL and keeping them off the LBs, the way it works in a more traditional 2-gap 3/4.

One of the first things McVay said after hiring Phillips was that he told AD nothing would change in terms of his position and how he plays it.
