NOTICE: McVay was a TE coach. The TEs shone. The TEs say he is the best coach they've had at any level.....ever. Washington's offense was a TE based offense. Washington's offense prolific.
Somehow or another, I kinda think if there is one area that McVay is about as qualified as it gets, it is the use of pass catching TEs.
If he is pretty satisfied with what we have......so be it.
Besides, as others have pointed out, what can ANYONE possibly learn about our O players from Fisher's O?
Even the wholesale personnel turnover predicted for our oline didn't happen. The new oline coach Kromer says that with the addition of Whitworth and Sullivan, he has the players he needs (notwithstanding they are still trying to shore up the Center position).
Point being: throw into the trash can anything we think we know about Offense personnel from the last 5 years. Fisher managed to piss away some talented players in a Kindergarten Kops offense with novice and not very good O coaches.
