What all this tells me is that Kroenke and Demoff are focused on the image of the Rams a lot more than the winning of the Rams. As Rams fans we should be used to that, its who the LA Rams have been for most of their history.
The next notion was about using celebrity to bring the hype level up.
IMO, it's a fail.
The marketing at most football games I've been to haven't been great. Basketball does a pretty great job.
However, I can come up with a number of experiences at the stadium itself, and marketing overall that are superior to these "powerful" minds.
Your points on the field results, sadly, hold water. I like Les. Fisher had to go and while the history of young coaches is awful; We can see the reasons why they chose the youngster. I hope they can fashion together a winner from the "components" they've acquired.
More likely, the owner and chief Op officer are going to suffer when the psl they intend to cash in on aren't the more desirable, must-have thing in town.
It's next year this may dawn on them.
And why I think we've seen glimpses of Peyton Manning around. At some point, wisdom says you'll need a real football man in the office to make the franchise a winner.
