I'm hoping Whitworth can come in, be the leader/mentor the OL needs, and most importantly give them 32 quality starts over the next two years. Draft a LT in next spring's draft to groom behind him. That's the ideal scenario.
I applauded the move because they clearly understood LT was one of the team's top 2 weakest positions the past couple years. And for Goff to succeed that had to change
in a hurry. Plus they smartly looked at this draft and knew based on the players and their draft slot they were not going to get that guy in this draft.
