Looking forward to a season with hope is one of the best parts of being a fan. If a team gets you to a point where you're so jaded you can't enjoy the simple things like the draft and all that, you're doing it wrong IMO.
I know this team might go five or six wins, but I still have hope. I still get great pleasure from watching the draft, reading camp reports, etc.
From what it sounds like you might need a team like the Patriots. They'll be able to take all that pressure off you and let you enjoy those things, since you'll know you have wins coming every year.
