As much as I like Spruce, I think they cut Nelson barring some phenom of preseason and camp exploits
Then bring him back to the practice squad. believe he qualifies. It's a good safety precaution if a WR gets damaged.
That's down to 3 guys.
Thomas got praise during the OTA sessions which is nice, but doesn't cement him. I do think he's got special teams advantages.
That Marquez is still with the team is maybe surprising. He's more special teams than offense. Think he's an easier cut when it's boiled down.
Pharoh has been the return guy, and didn't get much of chance to show more during the season at WR.
Pharoh is going to have a tough time making this club. Marquez is going to have a tough time making this club.
Barring injury, I could see Kupp supplanting one of the two on coverage team very, very early.
Losing Bennie Cunningham might secure P. Cooper a spot at kick off returns. But it would not surprise me to see some other guys tried.
P. Cooper, and M. Thomas make it through.
