Let's pull back on the stick there a little 43. At this point in the offseason the Rams receivers are less talented then they were at this time last year imo. Woods is a downgrade from Britt in terms of production and Austin continues to underachieve year in and year out. Their starting TE had an ugly rookie season. I wouldn't be surprised if Hemmingway wins the TE battle. So after parting ways with their top 3 receivers the only add was woods. I know some more will come via the draft but unless this team can move up for Mike Williams i don't see any pick aside from the 2nd rounder having much of an impact.
Geez, Tony. Where's your patience, man?
Woods was a smart signing, imo. They wanted no part of Britt, and Woods is a better fit for McVay and Goff, I believe.
Quick was a total loss without insurance.
Agree on Tavon, but we're stuck with him.
Draft is coming for a WR and a TE. Plus let's see what they can do with the other WR's on the roster. These new guys can coach.
I think we'll see a new Higbee that's not only healthy, but benefitting from superior coaching. McVay is known as a TE whisperer.
BTW, you kinda missed the point of my OP. My point was that McVay immediately recognized unacceptable shortcomings at WR and starting TE and made decisive moves to prepare for significant upgrades over players that Fisher had kept around for years.
That's a good thing.
