Its really difficult to judge the offensive players to a degree simply because Fisher employed OC's who probably were in way over their heads. And then there's the Fisher factor when it comes to the draft. Snead said his board was adjusted for Fisher's preferences... at least as far as RB's are concerned.
I was not a fan of the Gurley pick simply because I didn't see the value even if he was a top RB. That said, if he can become a rushing and receiving threat then I might come around to it. I didn't hate it but I would have gone elsewhere. I generally subscribe to the "you don't take RB's high" philosophy... especially coming off a serious injury.
This is an interesting year for Tavon for me. I have beat the poor coaching drum for a while now in regards to his mediocre stats, etc. We should have that answered this season.
I am not a fan of Snead's necessarily. And I don't care for him personally based on the interviews I've seen. But none of that matters if he can load the roster with talent.
