Wentz is light years ahead of Goff but that in itself wasn't much of an accomplishment but if you are really looking for an "excellent" rookie year by a QB he played in Dallas, not Philly.
Year 2? We shall see how all of last year's QB's do in round 2.

The moves to bring in the 2 WRs was outstanding and it's how you treat a young QB. I like a couple of OL they brought in too.
That said, Wentz started off like a house on fire but quickly crashed back to earth and ended, eh..
Those are the facts. And now his mechanics, never good, are called in to question. Yes I know they tried fixing his footwork so we shall see if that helps his accuracy and elevates his arm issues?
So what. Bottom line is he had an excellent rookie season. I don't know what the future will bring, maybe he gets worse, maybe he gets better, but his season was not a "FAR from excellent" and the ever present "LOL".
DO teams have his number now? We will see, but being a 'house on fire' is part of his season. It cannot be ignored or written off as nothing. Not if you want to be objective.
R.I.P. Nelson aka TonyHunter87 1971 - 2017 far too soon..
Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM
No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
