A guy might be an impact player on one team and not on another. I also think too often people think in terms of "impact on the game" but there's also an "impact on the roster". A guy like Aaron Donald makes an impact on the game but also on the roster. He makes the guys around him better. A guy like Todd Gurley makes an impact on the game but not so much on the roster.
That just means have to know what they want.
But the question still stands (and I am just posing it, I haven't worked on an answer). Granting all the caveats, like for example player x would work with team y, that just means team y has to know what it is looking for...well granting all that, how many impact players does a good drafting team get in say a 5-6 year span?
And how do the Rams stack up given those numbers?
