Boy, a lot actually. Havenstein, Brown, Gaines, McDonald, Tre Mason, Jenkins, Trumaine Johnson, Chris Givens. And I'm not talking about later round picks. The 37th overall pick. If you're patient and let the draft come to you the odds are good.

It all depends on the definition of "impact". I think many use a pretty generous definition of impact player.

I would call your examples immediate contributors (I would include Gurley who maybe had the most impact). To me, an impact player is a top player in the league. IMO, there are very few impact players in any draft. Many rookies may play but few make a real impact. If you can find a rookie who can consistently contribute, you're lucky.

Last year Prescott, Elliot, Bosa (once he got on the field) made a real impact, maybe a few others.

How many players that meet your definition of an impact player as a rookie, are drafted a year?

Once someone generates a number like that then we can compare it to the Rams.

If there is no number it's just all opinion.

Not being argumentative, just pointing out the obvious. If we don't have an idea of what a standard is we don't know where the Rams stand in comparison.
