The Rams just exercised their option for 2018 and if push comes to shove they could tag him in 2019 and 2020 if they can't come to terms. After that I don't think the Rams can keep him if he doesn't want to stay.

All that being said I truly expect Donald to sign a long-term deal and represent the horns well beyond 2020.

But I will add one caveat.

AD wants to WIN. His frustration last year was evident.

Meaning, the Rams had damned well better have solved their shortcomings on O before they expect to see AD sign on freely after being twice tagged.

Given the McVay hire, I expect those poor O's of the last decade to be just bad memories. But still...
