He is going to be a bit of a project. I just don't see him providing quick return on the draft spot, which for me personally is a concern. I realize many others are looking down the road with value and all and aren't as bothered about that as I am, but when there will be players available at that spot who have better potential for year 1 return it's a concern for myself.

I'd rather take Godwin there at 37, for example, a guy who projects to X for us and who doesn't have to be taught what a route tree is. Or any number of defensive players, from CB to DE to safety.

All that said IF the Rams take him I'll get behind it and hope for the best. I do think he's a fit for McVay.

Godwin is one of my guys for sure and I think he should be a target for the Rams.

I also agree on Engram. Long speed from the TE spot is very low in importance for me. It's a position where I emphasize toughness and precision...I question both with Engram.

Skillset wise at WR he compares to Marquez North. As a Slot WR - Jordan Matthews

  So the questions still stands..

Ok, more like a rich mans Jordan Reed

Rampage2K-379April 09, 2017 08:52AM

I'd be more inclined to keep him at TE
