Not really talking about "sleepers". I'm talking about players outside of the SMALL percentage discussed ad nauseam on networks like ESPN or NFL Network. Watching those shows will get you very familiar with the first rounders, at least knowledgeable about the second rounders, hit or miss on the third rounders and probably "who?" after that. I always liked this time of year on the Herd because of the geek conversations but also the questions from everyone else who just started paying attention recently. Figured I'd kick off some talk about guys at each position that get at best minimal attention from the big networks/publications but "I" feel should get more talk. Quick easy to digest summary of the players and video if possible. PLEASE add yours or throw out anyone you would like to know more about.
I'll start with with QBs. Probably not a Rams priority but if you can get player at the most important position in sports for a good/great value....do it.
QUARTERBACKS -
In a draft filled with "development" project QBs these are the ones I'd target.
Jerod Evans, Virginia Tech - Top 60 tier
Evans was a surprise declaration but might be a smart move in this draft class. 6'3 with good bulk (230+ pounds). Took control of an offense with future NFL weapons and did a good job not forcing the ball to them but still keeping everyone happy. Solid fundamentals and a good repeatable release. Doesn't have a cannon but think he will get more zip when he does a better job with his lower half. Throws catchable passes with ++ touch. Can run for first downs but can win from the pocket. Good footwork. Sells play action and has good ball skills to move defenders.

Kyle Sloter, Northern Colorado - Top 120 tier
Sloter is a late find for me. Big arm accurate passer that shows ++ pocket awareness/movement. Can escape and gain yards/1st downs. Bit of an awkward delivery but it's extremely quick so I don't care. Gets through progressions, reads the entire field and can manipulate safeties/LBs. Probably spends first year on your practice squad.
