Sooo many of you saying he needed tobe moved to Safety and sooo many of you absolutely correct.
I'm guilty of thinking how on earth could people on a message board know more than the coaches. Well obviously in this case a bunch of you knew better than Fisher.
A collective pat on the back.
Many of us followed Joyner’s college career closely at FSU and knew where his srronget position was and where he would continue to excel at the next level.
Joyner played ok at nickel for Fisher but the truth is he would have excelled at safety and been an upgrade over TJ McDonald even under Fishers defense. We must also remember that Fisher drafted McDonald, has strong personal ties with the McDonald family and gave the kid every chance to play his position. It’s not like he was going to move McDonald to nickel. At least Joyner had some versatility to play there.
At the end of the day Fisher never played Joyner to his full strength position.
Who cares now. The new regime got it right!
